Looks like the recent cross marketing trend of brands combining with brands is no trend, it's a way of life! OPI will be launching a
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides collection in May 2011 in time for the films release. If there is a product that doesn't fit in with something like
Pirates, then I don't know what it is. I could understand if some company were to put out a smoky eye kit:

When I look at the colours of the collection, another Johnny Depp film comes to mind that would have been so much more appropriate for a nail polish collection,
Edward Scissorhands!

When I saw the polish colours, Tim Burton's idea of suburbia immediately came to mind. It's so much more in tune and has a similar palate. Check out the ladies below:
